About Me

Passementerie (/pæsˈmɛntri/, French pronunciation: [pɑsmɑ̃tri]) or Passementarie is the art of making elaborate trimmings or edgings of applied braid, gold or silver cord, embroidery, colored silk, rosettes, or beads for clothing or furnishings.

Who am I?

There have been many titles on my self-adorned crown. I have been daughter, wife, step-mother, community volunteercollector of treasures, ex-wife, writer, author, and somewhere between all of those titles, there were times I had to stop, and remind myself to slow down.

There was also a time in my life, where my life drastically changed and I found I had less time to enjoy life, as I was in the survivor mode. Divorces will do that to you. Now, I am finally slowing down.

What I am offering is affordable ideas with small stay-at-home journeys that can enhance your life - or what I like to refer to as, "trimmings." However, the real truth of the matter is while I am writing for my readers, it is what keeps me honest and following my own words (... and don't let my rants scare you away. Think of them as "wit!").

It's about the simple "trimmings" for an elegant life - passementaries.
