March 20! Happy Spring and Macarons!

Today is the first day of Spring! Oestara! Vernal Equinox! 

My first pickings of daffodils for the year! Always such happy little faces. 

Is it any coincidence that National Macaron Day is celebrated on March 20 as well? Founded by pastry chef Pierre Hermé in 2005, the day encourages people to enjoy the meringue-based French sandwich cookies while supporting local charities and participating in baking activities in the area. #NationalMacaronDay
